About ShoulderIt

ShoulderIt was born out of a personal experience that highlighted a real gap in the recovery process after shoulder surgery. Our founder, who underwent shoulder surgery himself, quickly found that the standard shoulder sling was not designed for comfort, especially when it came to sleeping and resting. The constant need to adjust multiple straps for a small amount of relief—often waking up family or friends for help—added unnecessary stress to an already challenging recovery.

In addition, the uncomfortable ring attached to the back of the sling made it nearly impossible to lie down or sleep on your back without discomfort, making rest feel impossible. This experience sparked the idea for ShoulderIt—a solution to make recovery easier and more comfortable.

Working alongside a close friend, the inventor set out to create a better, more user-friendly product that would give people the comfort and freedom they deserve during their recovery. With ShoulderIt, we’ve designed a product that allows individuals to move with ease, sleep comfortably, and regain their independence—without relying on others to adjust or help them in the middle of the night.
